HC Deb 23 July 1987 vol 120 c382W
Mr. Wallace

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what consideration he has given to the implications of the resolution of the recent meeting of the Paris Commission on the Prevention of Marine Pollution on the reduction and control of radioactive discharges into the marine environment.

Mr. Moynihan

This meeting did not pass a resolution on this topic. There was majority support for a recommendation on the minimisation and elimination of pollution caused by radioactive discharges but the United Kingdom and France entered reservations on it.
