§ Mr. Maxwell-Hyslopasked the Secretary of State for Transport what is the latest information which he has as to the date when construction of the Crediton bypass will commence.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyI understand that Devon county council, which is the highway authority for the A377 through Crediton, has programmed the bypass for a start of construction in 1992–93. The priority and timing accorded to this scheme are matters for the county council.
