§ Mr. Altonasked the Attorney-General if he will make a statement on the practice of retired judges in receipt of pensions continuing to preside as judges.
§ The Attorney-GeneralRetired judges in receipt of pensions may sit as deputy judges in accordance with the provisions of section 9 of the Supreme Court Act 1981, in the case of judges of the Supreme Court, and section 24 of the Courts Act 1971, as amended by section 146 of the Supreme Court Act 1981, in the case of circuit judges.
