§ Mr. RifkindOver the last three months, seasonally adjusted unemployment in Scotland has fallen by 10,200 and is now at its lowest level since the end of 1985. More generally, survey evidence suggests rising economic activity in Scotland this year.
§ 48. Dr. Godmanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has any plans to make an official visit to Greenock and Port Glasgow in the near future to discuss the prospects for the local economy.
