§ 96. Dr. Moonieasked the Secretary of State for Employment what steps he is taking to increase employment opportunities for disabled and mentally handicapped people on Manpower Services Commission schemes.
§ Mr. LeeThe Manpower Services Commission (MSC) provides a range of special schemes particularly designed for people with disabilities. In addition, people with disabilities, including those who have a mental handicap, have access to the full range of MSC schemes. In many cases the criteria for people with disabilities are relaxed. The MSC is keeping under review what further improvements are required to increase the opportunities for people with disabilities.
