§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what recent representations on transplant his Department has received from the National Society for Transplant Surgery; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mrs. CurrieFour letters were received in the Department from the chairman during April giving information about the society, and a further letter was received in May asking for an assurance that the Department would recognise the legal validity of the society's donor cards. The legality of the document would be a matter for the courts and the chairman was informed that such an assurance could not therefore be given.
