The efficiency of the Procurement Executive is kept under continual review not least by the Public Accounts and Defence Committees on behalf of the House of Commons. I refer my hon. Friend also to the answer given to my hon. Friend the Member for Hastings and Rye (Mr. Warren) by my predecessor on 24 February at column216. The study mentioned in that reply has just been completed and is being submitted to Ministers.
