HC Deb 20 July 1987 vol 120 c17W
Mr. Foulkes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he has received any representations from the Nicaraguan Government relating to Colonel Oliver North's testimony that a British subject, David Walker, carried out attacks on military aircraft in Nicaragua; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Eggar

No such representations have been recieved from the Nicaraguan Government. Mr. Walker's company, KMS, is a private company registered in Jersey. Allegations that we authorised KMS involvement with the contras are totally unfounded. Information concerning the alleged involvement of KMS has come to us through the Congressional investigation. We are not responsible for KMS and cannot answer for its actions.
