The following information is in the Library. On 5 June 1987, the number of unfilled vacancies at jobcentres in Greater London was 37,801. These do not represent the total number of vacancies in Greater London. Estimates suggest that nationally about a third of all vacancies are notified to jobcentres, but an equivalent estimate for Greater London is not available.
