§ Mr. Campbell-Savours
asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, pursuant to his answer of 8 July, Official Report, column 160, he will list separately the purchases of furniture, fittings and equipment for the year 1986–87.

§ Mr. Chope
In 1986–87 approximately 1,200 orders were issued for the purchase of one or more items of furniture, fittings or equipment by the Parliamentary Works Office, including The Crown Suppliers. As already stated, expenditure is not recorded separately in the form requested, and I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on Wednesday 8 July, at column 160.
