asked the Secretary of State for Transport what information he has as to the number of cars registered in (a) Amber Valley and (b) Derbyshire.

There were 227,000 cars registered in Derbyshire at the end of December 1986. The number of cars registered in Amber Valley could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
