§ Mr. Matthew Taylorasked the Secretaty of Slate for Transport when he expects the conversion to dual carriageway of the A30 through Devon and Cornwall to be completed.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyWe plan the construction of 65 miles of dual carriageways and just under two miles of single carriageway in Devon and Cornwall. Five and a half miles of dual carriageway have recently been completed and another eight miles are under construction. A further 21½ miles is expected to start construction within the next three years. We aim to complete the remainder by the mid-1990s.
