§ Mr. Ieuan Wyn Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Wales what was the average rise in farm rents per hectare, for farms which experienced, a rent change, for Welsh tenants during the last full year for which figures are available.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe latest information available is for the period mid-October 1985 to mid-October 1986 and shows that for the 30 per cent. of farms which had a rent change, the average rent per hectare rose from £40.12 to £48.43, an increase of 20.7 per cent.
