The Lord Bishop of Southwark

asked Her Majesty's Government:

For each supplementary benefit office in the diocese of Southwark over the past year—

  1. (a)how many claims for benefit, including claims for additions and single payments, were received each month/quarter;
  2. (b)how many claims of all types were determined in each month/quarter;
  3. (c)how many claims are currently linked with case papers and await determination or other action;
  4. 1148
  5. (d)how many items of unlinked post are currently waiting in each office to be linked with case papers or otherwise dealt with;
  6. (e)in terms of days or weeks, how much backlog of work is outstanding at each office, irrespective of new claims; and
  7. (f)what was the annual staffing turnover in the past year for each office.
