Mr. Alan W. Williamsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if estimates are available of the amount of dioxin in parts per million formed during the high-temperature incineration of polychlorinated biphenyls.
§ Mr. MoynihanTrials have demonstrated that the amount of dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans emitted as a result of high temperature incineration of PCBs by continuous liquid feed is constistently less than one part in 101 2 (that is one in a million million) in stack gases.
