HC Deb 15 July 1987 vol 119 cc497-8W
Mr. Tom Clarke

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the number of qualified occupational therapists in Scotland specialising in long-stay or psychogeriatric care.

Mr. Michael Forsyth

The number of qualified occupational therapists based in long-stay hospitals at 30 September 1986, the latest figure available, was 184.4 (whole-time equivalents). This figure does not include staff employed in long-stay units of general hospitals as information collected centrally does not separately identify these staff.
