The Ramblers' Association is notified of some, but not all proposals affecting footpaths. Information on the effect of those proposals on the mileage of rights of way in England and Wales is set out in the first report on the 532W monitoring of the rights of way legislation in the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, published by the Countryside Commission in 1985.
