Minor repairs and routine maintenance will also take place from time to time. All reasonable measures will be taken to reduce delays to the road user, including the use of lane rental contracts.
Additional lighting is proposed between the end of existing lighting near Newport Pagnell and the Buckinghamshire-Northamptonshire boundary to the north. There are no current proposals for lighting the M1 between Leicester and Leeds.
