§ 94. Mr. Battleasked the Minister for the Arts what information he has about the level of employment in the arts in Leeds.
§ Mr. LuceThe Regional Arts Association is aware of over 400 people employed in the arts in Leeds on a regular basis. In addition, several hundred people are engaged on short-term contract work. The major arts employers in the city are Opera North, Leeds Playhouse and the Leeds Art Gallery.
