§ Mr. Lathamasked the Prime Minister whether she will make a statement on the action being taken by Her Majesty's Government to bring about the release of Mr. Terry Waite and other persons held captive by terrorist groups in Lebanon.
§ The Prime MinisterWe are pursuing every reasonable lead, through our staff in Beirut and elsewhere and by maintaining close and regular contact with those concerned at Lambeth palace, to try to establish the whereabouts of Mr. Waite, as well as the fate of the other British hostages held in Lebanon.
