§ 62. Mr. Chapmanasked the Minister for the Arts if he will make a statement about the progress of the business sponsorship incentive scheme for the arts.
§ Mr. LuceThe business sponsorship incentive scheme continues to be successful. It has brought £12.4 million new money into the arts and over 400 businesses have sponsored the arts for the first time.
As I announced in the House on 12 March, at column 494, I intend to continue the scheme in 1988–89.
