§ Mr. WaldegraveMy reply of 3 July to the Hon. Member for Ealing, North (Mr. Greenway) referred to the circumstances in which councils may seek orders for possession under grounds laid down in the Housing Acts 1980 and 1985. The Department is monitoring the operation of the provisions, but there has been little experience to date of their use in the courts in cases of racial harassment.
