§ Mr. EggarWe have frequent contacts with Ministers of the Government of Sri Lanka both here and in Colombo. My right hon. and learned Friend discussed the present situation with the Sri Lankan Finance Minister on 19 June, and my noble Friend the Minister of State has recently received the Ministers of National Security and of Lands and Land Development. All reiterated the Sri Lankan Government's commitment to continue to seek a political settlement.
