Mr. JacksonMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science has received Sir Clifford Butler's report from the chairmen of the Advisory Board for the Research Councils and of the Natural Environment Research Council, who have recommended that it be published. Accordingly, the report is being published today and copies are being placed in the Library of the House. A number of the recommendations fall to be considered by the Government and my Department is consulting other Departments concerned. My right hon. Friend will make a further statement when these consultations have been completed.
