§ Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will set out the timetable for receipt and publication of the inspector's report on the M66 from Denton to Middleton; and when he will expect construction to start if the inspector recommends construction.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe inspector's report is expected shortly. I shall make an announcement after I have considered it. The scheme is included in the national trunk road programme for a start of work in the period April 1989 to March 1991.
