Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what proportion of (a) the full-time and (b) the part-time employees of Cadw are Welsh-speaking;

(2) how many of the (a) full-time and (b) part-time employees of Cadw deal directly with the public in their work; and what proportion of these are Welsh-speaking;

(3) how many people are at present employed by Cadw and, of those, how many are employed on (a) a full-time basis and (b) a part-time basis.
