§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Transport what esimates he has made, or obtained, of the construction costs of the London docklands light railway City extension and the additional costs incurred by consequential upgrading of that part of the railway due to be opened on 30 July.
§ Mr. David MitchellLondon Regional Transport's latest budgeted cost for the project is around £135 million at outturn prices. This includes the cost of upgrading works to the Initial railway which are necessary for the effective operation of the City extension.
