§ 62. Mr. Nellistasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent representations Her Majesty's Government have made regarding detentions of trade unionists in South Africa.
§ Mrs. ChalkerWe have continued to make known to the South African Government our concern about detentions without charge, most recently on 28 May. On 19 December 1986 Her Majesty's ambassador in Pretoria raised the individual cases of nine trades unionists.
