§ Mr. MellorLast year the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs was asked to examine the nature of any risk arising from the cultivation in the United Kingdom of opium poppies and to consider whether existing statutory controls are adequate to deal with it. We expect to receive the council's report very soon.
