§ Mr. Archie Hamilton[pursuant to his reply, 15 January 1987, c. 307]: The project to which the hon. Member is, I believe, referring is in the planning stage. No tenders have yet been sought, no firms have been short-listed, and no contract has been placed other than for consultancy assistance in project definition and planning. Since tenders will be invited shortly, it would be inappropriate to publish estimates of the value of the contract.
