§ Mr. Shersbyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish a table showing the extent to which the funding of Hillingdon health authority has changed in real terms between 1982–83 and 1986–87, taking account of (i) changes in demography, (ii) medical technology and (iii) the effects of national and regional reallocation processes.
§ Mr. Newton[pursuant to his reply, 18 December 1986, c. 708]: Between 1982–83 and 1985–86* revenue expenditure by Hillingdon health authority increased by 2.6 per cent. in real terms, as measured by the gross domestic product deflator. I regret that information is not available on the costs of demographic change and advances in medical technology at district level.
