§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will update the medical statistics in his Department's submission to the inquiry under the chairmanship of Sir Douglas Black as published in The Lancet on 26 May 1984 to include the figures for 1982–84 and with special reference to the statistics for postal districts in the south-west of Scotland.
