§ Mr. John Carlisleasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he has made representations to the Governments of Kenya, Djibouti and the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen regarding their refusal to offer medical assistance to the South African seaman Mr. Ravell Langeveldt who was eventually admitted to St. Thomas's hospital, London.
§ Mr. EggarWe were not directly concerned and there was therefore no grounds for United Kingdom representations. Mr. Langeveldt was admitted under emergency procedures to the United Kingdom to receive the medical treatment he required. He has now recovered and returned to South Africa.
