The number of persons remanded on bail and the number remanded in custody is published, for each offence group, in "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales" (chapter 8 of the issue for 1985, Cmnd. 10) No information is collected centrally on the number of persons who do not comply with conditions of their bail.
