§ Mr. Butterfillasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he has made to the Government of Zimbabwe regarding the payment of pensions to British nationals who have returned from employment in Zimbabwe.
§ Mrs. ChalkerIn line with the provisions of the Zimbabwe constitution, pensions continue to be remitted from Zimbabwe, generally without problem, to British nationals who have returned to the United Kingdom. In a small number of instances where individuals have experienced difficulties, our high commission in Harare has made appropriate representations to the Zimbabwe authorities.
