§ Mr. MellorAdvance works for the new Woolwich prison and the associated court complex started in May 1986 and are expected to be completed in May 1987. The main contract for the court complex is due to start in February 1988 and is expected to be completed by April 1990. A further month will be required to bring the court complex into operation. The main contract for the prison is due to start in June 1987 and is expected to be completed mid to late 1991. A further three months will be required after the buildings are handed over before the first prisoners can be received.
