(2) in which areas it is not compulsory for local authorities to register vacant land held by them on the public land register; and what steps he proposes to take to make this procedure compulsory.
§ Mr. John PattenPart X of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 has been brought into operation throughout England. No English local authorities are exempt from its provisions.
