§ Mr. Hunterasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the outcome of his consideration of the report on safety and wholesomeness of irradiated foods by the Advisory Committee on Irradiated and Novel Foods.
§ Mrs. CurrieThe Advisory Committee on Irradiated and Novel Foods considered comments received on its report at a December meeting. The committee is now preparing its advice which will be put to Health and Agriculture Ministers. Ministers will then be in a position to give full consideration to the report.
