asked the Attorney-General if the Lord Chancellor proposes to increase the number of judges sitting in the Queen's Bench division of the High Court.

The Solicitor-General

The number of judges in the Queen's Bench division was increased by two, from 49 to 51, in September 1986. The number of High Court judges overall and within each division is kept under continuing review.
