§ Mr. MellorStatistics of the type requested can only be obtained from a specially arranged research study, involving the collection of a considerable amount of extra data. We shall be considering, in the near future, whether the earlier study should be repeated, taking into account the additional data collection which would be required from police forces and the conflicting claims of other studies on limited resources.
