§ Mr. Pikeasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many health authorities have contracted treatment of patients out to the private sector by using the additional financial resources made available to reduce hospital waiting lists.
§ Mr. NewtonFourteen regional or district health authorities have firm proposals to make use of allocations from the waiting list fund for 17 projects involving the private sector. A further five projects are still under consideration.
