§ Mr. Fisherasked the Minister for the Arts (1) what is his estimate of foreign earnings achieved by the arts in the latest financial year for which statistics are available;
(2) whether he will undertake a study to assess the amount of foreign earnings attributable to the arts.
§ Mr. LuceThis will be covered in the study of the economic importance of the arts which is being carried out by the Policy Studies Institute. Its results are expected to be available later this year.
