§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis as to the date and time at which Metropolitan police officers arrived in Glasgow in connection with inquiries into the BBC series "The Secret Society" and as to when he decided to seek the co-operation of the Scottish authorities in procuring a search warrant for BBC Glasgow.
§ Mr. HurdMetropolitan police officers arrived in Glasgow in connection with their inquiries into the BBC series "The Secret Society" at 10.15 am on 30 January 1987. They had decided to seek the assistance of Scottish authorities in procuring a search warrant for the BBC offices in Glasgow the previous day. This decision was entirely for them.
