§ Mr. Sternasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assessment he has made of the extent to which visa-issuing offices of his Department in eastern Europe are sufficiently resourced to enable them to deal with all applications in the coming year in a speedy and orderly manner.
§ Mr. EggarHer Majesty's embassies in the countries concerned are consulted as a matter of course. As a result, seasonal reinforcements are provided where required to ensure a speedy and efficient service.
