§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe police receive information from many different sources. Whether such information is retained and how it is evaluated and used is, subject to the law, a matter for individual chief officers of police. If the hon. Member has specific evidence of misuse of information, we will take it up with the chief officer concerned.
