§ Mr. Donald ThompsonMy Department conducts a continuing programme of monitoring for toxic residues in agricultural produce under the auspices of the steering group on food surveillance. The programmes of its relevant working parties are regularly reviewed to take 791W into account current issues. The results of this programme are assessed by independent advisory committees and regularly published in reports of the steering group on food surveillance.
