§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Attorney-General whether, pursuant to the statement by his right hon. and learned Friend the Solicitor-General on Friday 6 February, Official Report, column 1294, he will make a statement to the House once he has received the police report on Lord Rothschild.
The Solicitor-GeneralIt would be inappropriate for my right hon. and learned Friend the Attorney-General to make any comment on this matter before the police report has been received and a decision has been taken.
