Our advice to those British citizens resident in all areas of Lebanon is that they should observe a high level of caution and consider carefully whether they have compelling reasons to remain. We are alert to the need to keep our advice up to date.

No British airlines currently use Beirut international airport. My Department has not received any recent requests for advice from British airlines wishing to operate to the Lebanon. If any approach was received, any advice would have regard for the situation prevailing at the time. I understand that no other European airline currently operates scheduled international services into Beirut international airport.
