§ Mr. EggarAlthough my right hon. and learned Friend sees both his Greek and Turkish colleagues frequently in the margins of various international meetings, he has not held discussions with either of them about Cyprus for some time. Meanwhile, the United Nations Secretary General is continuing his efforts to find a settlement in Cyprus. The United Nations under-secretary general for political affairs visited Cyprus last November, and again696W at the beginning of this month, to try to find a way forward. We lose no opportunity to urge both sides to show the flexibility and good will necessary to resolve the dispute.
