§ Mr. WaldenOur Green Paper "The Development of Higher Education into the 1990s" (Cmnd. 9524) said we would make a further statement in the light of responses and of a further review of policies. One follow-up was the review of the University Grants Committee, chaired by Lord Croham GCB, the report of which was published last week (Cm. 81). My right hon. Friend will make a statement as soon as he is ready to do so.
